Struggling mood swings lately? Feeling down or mixed-up sometimes? Do you feel sad and lack of interest anymore to do the fun things you usually do? Well, then, you’re not alone. Everyone gets sad. Yes, everyone! But some people have the blues just once in a while; others may have sad feelings for a long time .

unhappiness is a normal reaction to a stressful life , setbacks, and disappointments. We all go through changes in our mood. But when emotion level goes beyond sadness, other people refer this as “depression”.  When you’re in a sad mood , it may feel like it will last forever , but usually feelings of sadness don’t last very long — a few hours or perhaps a day or two. A heavier , more intense kind of sadness that lasts a lot longer is called depression.

Although depression is often thought of a being an uttermost(a) state of sadness, there is a large difference between depression and sadness. Sadness is a part of being human, a typical reaction to difficult   circumstances. All of us will experience sadness at some point in our lives. Depression, however, is a physical illness with many more symptoms than an unhappy mood.

The person suffering from clinical depression finds that there is not always a root for his dark feelings. Some depressed people don’t feel sad at all—instead, they feel lifeless, empty, and apathetic.

Whatever the symptoms are, depression is should not be confused with normal sadness. Depression takes over your day-to-day life, interfering with your ability to work, study, eat, sleep, and enjoy your life . The feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, and worthlessness are unchanging and unrelenting, with little, if any, relief.

Depression often shows different signs in men and women, and in young people and older adults. Just as the signs and triggers of depression are different in different people, so are the ways to feel better. What works for one person might not work for another, and no one treatment is appropriate in all cases. If you recognize the symptoms of depression in yourself or a loved one , take some time to explore the many treatment options. In most cases, the best approach involves a combination of self-help strategies, lifestyle changes, and professional help.

Making changes in your lifestyle are simple but effective tools in treating depression. Even if you need more intense treatment as well, lifestyle changes go a long way towards helping reduce the signs depression. And they can help keep depression at bay once you are feeling better. Lifestyle changes include exercise, nutrition, sleep, social support and reducing stress . You may consider alternative treatments such as vitamins, herbal remedies, relaxation techniques and acupuncture.

Anyone can develop depression and there are various effective treatments. Psychotherapy and medication are the two primary treatment approaches. Antidepressant medications can make psychotherapy more effective, for some people. Someone who is too depressed to talk, for instance, can’t get much profit from psychotherapy or counseling; but often, the right medication will improve symptoms so that the person can respond better.

I was a 40 year old person who smoked and had Burgers disease also called
PAD . This disease could not be fixed at that time.  Beginning with the   childhood years I my younger years had 10 surgeries and many drugs to slow the advancement of the condition . I had experienced lots of open infections that would not heal and I has lost four toes and my feet   were getting worse. The doctors said to me there was little they could
do and the next thing that would happen would be major amputation. At no time did any doctor talk about
IV chelation through the chelation treatments the wound closed which was an extremely quick response given my past history.

After these 10 treatments I felt much better and I could exercise again. . I was able to walk a mile without any pain. I waited eight weeks and did another 10 treatments which got rid of all the foot and calf pain.  I could now walk 5 miles or more. This was a large accomplishment because I had not been able to do this since I was a teenager .

Over the next ten years I did a total of sixty chelation treatments at six different practitioners around the US the best for me. I tried to duplicate orally what was being done with IV chelation . I took 2.4 grams of  EDTA granules 3 times a day. At this amount my minor symptoms went away in two weeks.

I am now over 70 and have no circulation problems. I still take oral chelation in much smaller amounts as insurance against not only poor circulation but as a detoxifier to remove aluminum from my blood system. I have passed all medical test. Most important I can still hike with the younger set. Chelation therapy works in both IV and oral forms. I am living proof.

Your colon is a busy, crowded place – or at least you better hope that it’s crowded with friendly bacteria . We have an increased likelihood of being afflicted with damaging yeasts, intestinal toxemia, bad bacteria, viruses, and and extensive list of of other health problems when we don’t have a adequate supply of beneficial bacteria Why? Because without the helpful bacteria to eat up the toxic waste from food that has not been completely digested and evacuated, the toxins and undigested food particles can find their way into the circulatory system and require the immune system to work much harder . These tiny bits of undigested foor are treated as foreign invaders that will be either ejected from your body or converted into something useful to the body . Over time this can depress the immune system and render it useless in the face of a serious illness

The toxins produced from this waste material can spread throughout your body , literally poisoning you. Your “starved” and poisoned organs and systems are subjected to increasing stress and eventually weaken to the point of collapse . This is why so many researchers now believe that “death begins in the colon.”  Good intestinal health is vital to our well being.

Colonies of “ helpful or probiotic” bacteria must live in the colon for it to work properly . They help maintain balance in your gut by controlling populations of organisms like salmonella and E. coli, which cause disease .

It’s a sad fact that , the desireable bacteria that should be in our colons and control these problems are subjected to a constant assault by an increasingly wide range of enemies. These include the ubiquitous enemies of chlorinated water, the antibiotics we take for illness and those we ingest in the meat and pasteurized dairy products we consume, alcoholic beverages , chemicals in our environment , not to mention the devastation of chemotherapy and radiation . So now we need to look at digestive supplements.

Once, beneficial bacteria were passed naturally from mother to baby . But , in the last fifty years , in our hurry to eliminate all bacteria, we didn’t just kill the bad . That’s why it is so important to regularly reintroduce good bacteria into our body to ensure we keep them healthy. Probiotics supplements may also be a good idea right after taking antibiotics or other treatments designed to kill bacteria or viruses.

Are you always sad and gloomy?  Have you lost interest in the activities that you normally enjoyed? Do you feel guilty or pessimistic for no real reason?  Are you turning upset easily and having thoughts of inferiority?  Should you answered yes to all these questions, you may be experiencing the physical and psychological signs of depression.  Sadness or having a low mood which might in turn lower the activity level in certain areas of the brain is one from the most popular and prominent symptoms of depressive disorder.

All age groups can be affected by depressive disorders.  For instance, a teenager can lose interest in school, while an adult man might lack confidence in himself as a result of losing his hair.  Other signs of depressive disorder include, constantly being in a difficult mood and becoming withdrawn from your social life.  This depression may trigger you a little annoyance as the days go by.  However, if this problem develops and persists, it can grow to be so serious that it can cause you to become dysfunctional, particularly in the social aspect of your life.  Depression at its worst can even lead you to becoming suicidal.

Depression exists in quite a few diverse forms; let’s look at a few of them.  Mono-polar depression is a kind of depression, which in its milder form produces symptoms that don’t affect your involvement in social activities or your ability to do work.  Nevertheless, the cyclothymic disorder and bipolar disorder are associated with symptoms that do affect your daily routine.  These disorders will cause you to experience periods of depression, by going through times where your mood level is extremely elevated and associated with increased mental and physical activity.  This is also another form of depressive disorder that’s defined by getting unusual elevated mood, characterized by an unrealistic optimism, hyperactive behavior and lack of sleep.

You’ll find a number of distinct factors that may be the source of these forms of depression.  Some of these sources are mental straining, psychological anxiety, and long periods of physical struggle.  A person suffering from depression will experience a decline in the activity of their nervous system, forcing the loss of critical nutrients that cause the nervous system to work properly.  Lack of rest and periods of stress are also some other popular agents of depression.  There are those doctors who believe that depressive disorder is also a disease that may be inherited, and so think about genetics as one of the causes of depression.

Living an unhealthy and unsound life associated with too much fat and sugar,  a lot oft alcohol, and caffeine and hardly any exercise can lead to the symptoms of a depressive disorder.  In addition, women who have given birth may perhaps undergo a period of depression soon after the child is born.  This occurs due to the fact of the physical and mental strains that most women must undergo during child bearing.  Nevertheless, extended periods of a depressive disorder could be treated with things including anti-depressive medication, getting a lot of rest and living and eating healthier.

Are You Suffering From Frequent Urination?   Frequent urination is the most classic symptom of diabetes  . This occurs because the body is unable to reabsorb water  . The kidneys of the diabetic person becomes busy in extracting and flushing away more water because of the osmotic activity that is linked to increased level of glucose .

Some medical professionals think all older people should be tested for Alzheimer’s. Would you be in a better situation if the disease could be diagnosed early on, and if you and/or your relatives were tested?

Many community groups now administer tests for memory problems, looking for signs of early Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia. Some MDs already commonly test people over 65 years of age, usually with questionnaires (“name as many animals as you can think of in 30 seconds,” etc). There are also exams to help you diagnose yourself.

So when do you look for  medical providers to perform the necessary testing?  Perhaps this information can help.

Universal screening for Alzheimer’s is still controversial, and for many very good reasons:

It would include many people with no memory problems at all. Apart from the wasted cost and time, testing can lead to worry, depression, and family disruption.

There is no sure way to tell the difference between mild age-related cognitive disability, which may never worsen, and early Alzheimer’s. If the exam tells you that you’re okay now but may develop dementia further down the road, what can you do with that info?

Diagnostic exams for early dementia are not reliable, specifically in people under the age of the age of 70. Incorrect diagnoses could be devastating. People might lose their jobs, driver’s license or even their potential caregivers, and not be able to receive life or medical insurance.

If early diagnosis leads into additional treatment with medicine, well, the jury is still out. Alzheimer’s medicines are expensive, and their benefits are limited and of short duration. They’re prescribed only for people who have been previously showing obvious symptoms and signs of dementia.

Early diagnosis would benefit the drug companies more so than the public, according to some critics.

So where are we now?

Alzheimer’s may be the diagnosis people truly fear more than any other. The risk rises as one ages, and the numbers are rising. We desperately need a better understanding of this condition and improved diagnostic tools. We need preventive means, as well as beneficial treatments. Further research into Alzheimer’s testing is crucial before burdening patients and their already overtaxed primary-care physicians with screening tests of dubious reliability and unmeasurable benefits.

If you are afraid that you or a loved one may be showing signs of severe loss of memory or Alzheimer’s Disease, talk about the problem with your doctor. If tests reveal no problem, you’ll be happy. If you do receive a diagnosis of dementia, you can prepare for the future as best as you can by starting to look for a qualified dementia care facility and, if recommended, try the medicines that exist. We warm against tests at local community centers and the like, or tests performed by yourself.

It is, of course, less burdensome to realize that there are many fabulous Alzheimer’s Care and Assisted Living Homes  to provide the proper living conditions and attention that anyone suffering from Alzheimer’s can turn to.  It’s not an easy road, but there is information and help available if you prepared to do your homework.
