What is Multiple Sclerosis? That is a great question.

MS is thought to be an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system (CNS).

Some of the symptoms of M.S. may include the following:

Being Fatigued
Being Numb in some places
Poor Coordination
Bladder & Bowel Issues
Vision problems and more….

The Criteria for a Diagnosis of MS

In order to make a diagnosis of MS, the physician must:

  • Have affirmation of damage in at least two separate areas of the central nervous system which includes the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves &
  • Find data that the damage arose at various times—at least one month apart &
  • Rule out all alternative credible diagnoses
  • and more.. As with any questions or concerns with your health you should contact your Physician.
